ALL CAUGHT UP.

If you're waiting to hear from me about your order or any of the other myriad of things on my to do list, I promise I'll be addressing it shortly. One more from my last newborn.

Shaming myself into quitting.

I have a sad addiction. I believe I've talked about it before. I love that red bullseye. I can recognize almost any product. In fact, the other day I was at a shoot at someone's house. They had some beautiful silk flowers. I almost said, "Oh! These came from Target!"

I bit my tongue. Here are the straight facts.

Since January 1st, I've been to Target MORE THAN 28 times. I'm not counting the times that I went to get a prescription filled and ONLY filled the prescription. And I didn't count a time that I bought business stuff there (battery charger - like you need to know.) 28 TIMES! In under 4 months. That's nearly 2x/week, folks.

In my 28 visits, I've spent $576.62. That's an average of about $20/visit. Granted, many of my transactions were simply to the food court for dinner and kill an hour or two until I could throw my children in their beds.

The things you learn when you enter 4 months of receipts at once:
1. I shop at Target WAY too much.
2. I buy ALOT of clothes for my kids there. ALOT.
3. We eat at McDonald's (gross!) alot.
4. I won't even scare you with the amount spent at Walmart.

Phoenix. Tiny Peek.

Here ya go. I know you've been waiting ever so patiently for it. :D

Need your help!

Got me an MP3 player (sorry Matt!) while in Utah. I haven't listened to music in so long that I can't even begin to think about what I want to put on it.

Who is on your playlists? And Sheri... LL totally doesn't count.

A couple more, for those of you waiting with baited breath.

I am hoping to have two more galleries finished up tonight... even though HEROES is on. So, Char & Brosie... keep watching for it!

The moment you've all been waiting for!

Yeah, I know. The lengths aren't consistent. I'm over it. We got lots of compliments today and I'm flying high!
Obviously taken AFTER I'd done her hair.
And in case you hadn't noticed, there's no "doing" of Anna's non-hair.
And Miles was in a raunchy mood.

But yes. He had some new clothes too.

Doing a little, "I am so awesome" dance.

Yes, that's right. They're done. Completely. I even added little fabric yo-yo flowers, and matching headbands. Tonight, I love me. And I even had a couple days left until Easter (I finished them last night). Perhaps the girls will cooperate and I'll be able to get pictures of them IN the dresses. I don't have high hopes for that.

A couple of things that bring me great joy.

This will be filed away in the "She's a total religious crazy, but still a good photographer" file.

Today, I drove to the temple with Anna and Miles in tow. Despite getting lost and having to call my RS President for help (she's got one of those fancy GPS systems in her car... we're also friends, Hi Debbie!), we made it. But guess what. It's Monday. The distribution center (which is why I was REALLY going there) was closed, as was the temple. So, with Miles dead asleep in my arms, Anna and I walked around the temple grounds for a couple minutes.

We sat down on a curb. I asked Anna what she wanted to do. Her simple reply, "Sing 'I Am A Child of God'." So we did. And I couldn't help but feel a couple of tears fall. Just yesterday I had explained to a friend that despite being very active in the church, I was feeling spiritually inactive. Like I just couldn't care less one way or the other. But today, sitting on that curb, I felt my Heavenly Father wrap His arms around me and my daughter for a brief moment. The simple request of a child, who I'm sure was feeling the love of her Heavenly Father too.

Now, to bring it back to Earth. Shortly thereafter, Anna told me she needed to use the potty. The Temple was closed. The Distribution Center was closed... and lest we be smitten for peeing on the grass (Anna's request) on Temple Grounds, we high-tailed it out of there.

And because it wouldn't be a photoblog without photos (and sorry, I didn't take my camera to the Temple.)

Miles, who I never get good pictures of:
And hey mom, doesn't he look like Adam here?:
