Thank You.

Thank you to everyone! Your prayers and thoughts have buoyed myself and my family.

Unfortunately, my brother David passed away on Monday, August 13th. He was 29. I took the first flight out to Utah that I could get. David was an amazing musician and he will be greatly missed.

While we are incredibly saddened by David's passing, we find ourselves immersed in the immense joy of babies. Two of my sisters had babies this past week. On Sunday, August 12th Benton was born and on Wednesday, August 15th, we got to meet Cameron. I have pictures and will be sure to post them after I get home.

Thank you again everyone, you can't know how much it meant to me to have all the love and support from you guys.

Out of town.

I'll be out of the office from tonight until August 22nd. I will have limited access to email. I will return all calls/emails when I get home.

Please keep my family in your prayers!

my job rocks.

I will admit that shooting families can be quite difficult at times. But it's so unbelievably rewarding. Getting to meet awesome families... I really do have the best job. Sharing a few tonight because I just loved this family so much!

And these aren't even my favorites! Michelle - They'll be done soon!

Two uses.

In my crafting fervor, I decided to go ahead and make up some saucy pincushions. I used this pattern to crank out this one (my new favorite!). Love the wool felt. So much nicer than craft felt.Well, apparently, that wasn't good enough. I also needed to make another one. So, I fashioned one that looked something like this fabulous one. But in brighter colors. However, last night after I finished, I left it out. This morning, Miles has adopted it.

And a rather blurry picture of what it looks like when not being smooshed by The Giles.
