Sometimes, you just need to be honest about what you need, right?
While I didn't slave over the girls' Valentines like some people, I did make them myself.
It was as simple as getting a picture of the girls with their hand in a fist outstretched. Overlaying some "Happy Valentine's Day" text in Photoshop and having them printed as a 4x6.
Then I simply cut with some sharp-pointed scissors, a slit at the top and bottom of their hand and slid the sucker in. I also used a piece of scotch tape on the back to make sure the Tootsie Pop didn't fall out.
Done. Total time spent, maybe one hour?

I am LAVISHING you, darlin'!!! Trust me, I am WELL past the need to do anything other than giggle at my kids' and their significant others' distress at coming up with fun and novel things to create...(duh... I guess my hours and hours for years of being a homeroom mom is finally getting her revenge... oh.. I meant to say reward???) LOLOL Your idea is genius and your great humor is even better!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your beautiful children's picture on the homepage. Once I picked myself up off of the floor from laughing so much, I immediately thought what VERY lucky children you have! Keep up the good work and I know our future generations will do just fine with high caliber of parenting and sharing you are gifting to the world! Hugggsss aplenty from an old mom who accidentally found your site, Mary Lou
What a completely awesome idea!! I'm going to do this with my daughter's photo. She will be very excited to see it. Thanks for sharing!
