This just in: she's doing fine.
She's 2.5 months old and I'm starting to get a little teary at her babyness instead of the infantness that I'm used to. She's become extremely interested in the world around her.
She loves to munch on her tiny fists, and particularly enjoys time in the bouncy seat so that she can be more upright and lookin' around.
She's just about the cutest thing ever. We adore her.
Tangential funny story: I was nursing her whilst lying down on the couch. The boys were watching TV and I was secretly napping. Suddenly, Libby unlatches and starts crying. My eyes pop open and I see Lucas backing away from us. I look down at Libby and her ear is all wet. Pretty sure he was sucking on her ear while I slept/nursed and got a little carried away. Poor girl.
I really do feel badly, though, that I didn't learn to knit earlier. Libby's the benefactor of 99% of my knitting love. Tho, I did make these for my sister's kid. The other day while driving in the car, Abbie passed me a note that said something like, "Dear Mom, I love you soooo much! When are you going to knit me something?" Guilt trip much?
Anyway, I totally made Libby some summer pants.
I seriously can't get enough of this girl... unless it's 3am.

oh man, she is cute! love the shorts. i need to learn how to knit!
I'm insanely jealous that you already have another one and I still have almost six months to go. If I had gotten pregnant when I wanted to we would have been due at the same time. Oh well. Now you'll just have to send me all these adorable knitted hand-me-downs if I have a girl. Or else I'll have to pull out my old knitting needles and make some myself. It will be my only consolation for having a winter baby.
She is just simply yummy!
She is just so dang cute! Keep these posts coming... I need the extra smiles in the morning! Those shorties are the cutest thing! Does Abbie have dolls? You could make a pair of shorties for one of her dolls.
That is totally how I feel about Paisley and sewing. I've made plenty of things for the boys but have made far far more for Paisley. BTW, Libby looks like the spitting image of Anna.
I think Bennett wants to kiss her.
That note from Abby is hilarious. Sounds like something June would do. I agree about the baby cuteness except at those early morning hours.
You need to move to a place with colder climate-calgary? You can knit to your heart's content.
have I told you how much I envy/admire your knitting talent? I have? Multiple times? Oh, well, here I am again.... LOVE IT! and good job on making a[nother] cute kid, too.
