We have a three bedroom house. And (soon-to-be) five children. It goes without saying that our children share rooms, right?
In our attempts to make everyone fit, it was decided that all of the girls' clothing needed to go into their closet. No room for dressers, really. And so began the great closet transformation of January 2010.
The project is almost done, it just requires a few more items. But this is just to whet your appetite.

May the force be with you.
i can't wait to see how well it works out!
Closet organization makes me GIDDY!
Dressers are very useful though, don't discard it, maybe you can use the dresser top for baby changing table? or put it somewhere else in the house?-covered patio? garage/...good luck!
Yup, it'll work cause you are doing it! Happy organizing!
the dresser will be going in the garage, mom.
All things are possible! Good luck!
The before picture wasn't too shabby, I can't wait to see the after.
If the beds in the room are tall enough, you can always take the dresser drawers out, and slide them under the bed. I've had to use this trick before, and it works in a pinch!
If you don't like the dresser (and I'm one for always repurposing rather than chucking) you should check out http://www.knockoffwood.blogspot.com/ and build your own! Her tutorials are fantastic. Haven't made anything yet . . .just waiting for summer! The closet looks fantastic :) Oh, and I borrowed your idea for valentines. Thanks for the idea!
