Are you a follower? Some Business and A Prize.

I have a hard time understanding what it means to "follow" someone's blog. Yes, I know, I'm a bit blogstupid. But I noticed that I have more than 2 people following my blog. And I don't even know most of you.

Are you following? Who are you? I need some new blogs to read! If you want me to read yours, leave a comment... it's easier for me to comprehend. I'll pick one commenter at random to send a little handmade something.

Also, if anyone has the time or patience to help me figure out how to spruce this here blog up, I'd be truly grateful. (Like, handmade somethings in the mail, grateful.)

My name is Katie. I am not sure how i "found" this blog but i saw a knitted pair of pants and some wonderful pictures so i figured why not.
I am a stay at home mommy to 2 almost 3 girls!! And a wife to a wonderful youth and children's minister at a church here in NY.
I try to be crafty and it sometimes ends in a great and wonderful project and sometimes i end up throwing it away because i had no idea what i was doing!
I mainly write when i have a minute to sit and be creative. This child seems to have sucked all the creative juices out of me. Hopefully when she pops out they will come back!!

Hi! I'm Teresa (following Katie's lead with introductions). I think I found your blog sort of randomly, but glad I did! I work full time at a church as a communications director but am also a full time mommy to a willful and especially cute 18 month old little girl. My blog (www.ItIsAGoodDay.blogspot.com) is just sort of a place I share neat ideas and hopefully some inspiration once and a while. I'd love for you to stop by!

I can't remember how I found your blog - either following something crafty or in the favorites on another blog I read. I tend to put the blogs I enjoy reading in my google reader because it requires less thinking on my part! I am a working on being single Mother of three and run a daycare in my home. I love all things crafty and try to squeeze whatever I can into very busy days!

Hello. I started reading your blog when I was pregnant with my second child ( he's 14 months now ) I was already a SAHM to my oldest, so while Pregnant I tried finding ways to entertain myself, I stumbled apon another blog first ( Stephanie's) somehow and randomly found my way to yours through hers. It started out as a way to find something to do in my downtime, but I still check in on your blog from time to time to see how your family is progressing, congratulations on libby. I have a blog ..

(kimjensen.blogspot.com)

It's not as crafty as yours, mostly just pictures and day to day life of a mother with two boys.

Hello! I guess now is as good of time as any to delurk...I found your blog a year or so ago from lostasock's blogroll. It was when you still had your photography business, and I loved your natural light photography. I am a wannabe photog at hear, and I love stalking other's work. Especially those, like you, who actually know what they are doing. I love your adorable kiddos, and all of your handmade craftyness. I am a SAHM, and have been for 5 years. I, however, do not get nearly all the awesome stuff accomplished that you do. I have 2 girls 9 and almost 5 and 2 boys 2 1/2 and 13 months.

I follow your blog because I love you and your super cute family! Also I follow it because it makes me smile!

Rachel O'Funky said...

You know, I'm not really sure what "following" does either. I think it just lets you know on your "dashboard" that the person you've followed has updated. Also, it gives someone a sense of status I suppose. (The "look at me I have 9256 followers!" sort of status.) I love your blog. Found it through some sort of craft linky party or something, surely. I just started a blog that I intend to use for my writing. It's supposed to be a place for me to practice and get used to feedback, etc. There isn't much there, but feel free to stop on by!

I found your blog a year ago through a link for your adorable valentines and have been hooked ever since. We also have 5 children. Our youngest was born in January and the rest seem to be stair-stepped pretty close in age to yours. I think you are an amazing mom and so creative. I am not crafty, but I love to see all you put together and marvel that you still have time and sanity left in your days to be crafty. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your super-cute family.

I follow your blog, because you have an adorable family with great ideas... and because I can't keep up with my own, have to have something to procrastinate with!

Hi, I'm Stacie. I'm pretty sure I was blog hopping when I found you. That's what I do. I find blogs that interest me and normally the people that interest them interest me too. I visit your blog regularly, and will probably put you on my blog roll (if that's okay with you) so my mom (because, let's be honest, that's probably the only person visiting my blog) can check you out. I like that you have a family/crafts mix on your blog. Mine is mostly about my 2.5 year old son, Roman so far away family members can feel in touch, but sometimes, I craft and I like to post pics of those things too, so less crafty people can be jealous of my talents (ha ha, just kidding). I'm totally a novice sewer and love to re-create what I see on other blogs. Unfortunately, I have no mad knitting skills like you. back to work now, you know that thing i do to pay for my craft addiction.
