I love it! Love the design, love the color, it is Fab-U-lllooouuuss! To be honest I would love to have something of yours just to show it off. That way when somebody asked, "Where did you get that?" I could say, "My extremely tallented friend Alissa, made it!" :)

I don't much care if I win any contest, but I agree! Knitting is the bomb! I cross stitch, and learned to crochet (which is slightly boring to me) but knitting has taken hold of my brain and held fast. I just taught myself and I've got projects lined up waiting for their turn. My first ever project? Endpaper Mitts. Awesome. ;)

Hmm, maybe I will learn how to knit. Or maybe I'll wait until my next Florida trip (which may be this year) and have you teach me.

I think I commented on your original post about the necklace stating I loved it, so that makes a true fan of the necklace, which means I need it and that I should win :) Boy I hope you agree!

Funny, found your blog from another blog that I found through another blog and I saw this post. I just sat up the other night for hours trying to figure out how to cast on so I could knit again. I learned years ago from my grandmother but then life got in the way and now I've forgotten how, not that I was making anything like you, ok all I really made was scarfs, but I'D like to get back into it.
