I make no secrets about the fact that I use photoshop on every single picture I take. Well, the ones my clients see. Now generally, they just need a tiny bit of tweaking to make the colors pop or to get rid of some pesky scrapes or something. But today I thought I'd show you some simple fun from Photoshop.
I had left my camera in Aperture Priority mode, which means that the camera makes most of the decisions for you (it was a lazy afternoon). Sometimes, that works well, but often it doesn't. Here is the picture as it came straight out of my camera.

So, while this picture is cute, it's very dark. Literally 3 minutes in Photoshop and now... voila!

Now, that's much better. And cuter.
If you'd like to see more posts like this... let me know! I think it's fascinating, the fun you can have in PS.

So basically you are telling me I am not as georgous as I thought I was! Ego, down, needs repair!
I'd love to see more!
That's sort of what I did for 7 years when I worked at the photo lab...made photos look as good as I could make them look. (granted, not NEAR as many options as PS now has)
I'd also like to see pics of Anna's bday, please.
I want to see more too. Plus I want to know if you used an action or not or if it was all manual. that is all.
I want to see more but I want to know how you did it. :)
Do you use the full Photoshop Extended CS3, or do you use Photoshop Elements? Just wondering if I can achieve the same results without having to spend the big money on the pro version?
